For parents · Door A
They will be treated as an adult. You still pay the cost.
You should be skeptical. Check the facts here. Don’t put your kid in the middle.
No signup on this page. Next step is a membership walkthrough with an advisor.

Your skepticism is rational.
Parents hear “campus opportunity” and think pyramid, inventory, or a friend with a pitch. Fair. This page is Door A: a law firm on their phone for the lease, the ticket, and the name employers will search.
Membership never requires the business. Door B sits at the bottom, if you even want it.
The nights that land on you
The student signs it. The parent pays it.
They are 18. The lease, the ticket, and the name search treat them as an adult. The deposit, the co-sign, and the weekend still land on you. That is the cost. The membership is the tool.
The cost First apartment. A classmate is not a lawyer. If they sign blind, the deposit and the co-sign are yours.
The call A provider law firm reads it before they sign.
The cost A ticket can follow them — and you — for years.
The call They ask before they just pay it.
The cost Panic-pay or ignore. Either way, it becomes your weekend.
The call Ask a law firm first.
The cost Party tags and a stolen number do not age out. When the kid takes the hit, the parent’s wallet usually does too.
The call IDShield watches the name and the credit file.
None of those were court. All of them cost you.
The price of the tool is smaller than the cost of the decision.
They will be treated as an adult. You will still pay for the bad ones. This membership is an asset because it sits on the phone before they sign.
A membership you can budget. Confirm the number on the walkthrough. This page will not invent one.
Deposit. Co-sign. Ticket. Ruined name. Your weekend.
When you see both, the price is the smaller number — for them and for you.
Coverage
A parent plan can cover the student — and cover you both.
On select family legal plans, a never-married dependent who is a full-time college student can stay covered up to age 26. IDShield family coverage is its own contract. An advisor confirms what applies on the walkthrough. Plan names and limits vary.
See it on the phone before you decide.

Membership walkthrough with an advisor.
Door A first. LegalShield and IDShield. Then you decide. Call or Text is on the bar when this page came from an advisor.
Door B · later, and only if you ask
There is an optional opportunity. Membership never requires it.
Some students also want skills that show up after graduation — communication, follow-through, leadership. That is Door B. It is not why this page exists. It is not a condition of the membership. School stays the job.
If you want that conversation, ask an advisor. If you only wanted Door A, stop here.
